Wow...who knew there was a whole world of bloggers arguing about gardening? Surely I didn't. I love to garden, wish I kept records as accurate as your dad, love reading about your gardens since our zones are about as far apart as you can get (zone 9-10 from zone 2)and am not sure I even really understand what those people are talking about (except I do want to know how I sign up for free plants??!!).

As soon as you turn a love into a job you no longer love it.

I don't think you are missing a thing. Gardening is a delight, as is cooking, crafting or any other thing we enjoy doing. Not everyone will 'GET' it, I know because most of my family doesn't. But, with those we share with, it is priceless.

I enjoy hearing about what is going on there at your place.
