How The Great Wall Got It's Name

A few years back, when the first retaining wall was going in,I bribed our youngest son to come over and help me.

After a few hours of hauling fill dirt and the retaining stones,he looked at me and said,

"What are you building? The Great Wall of Lutz?"

And the name has stuck!

Small Surprises......

Isn't it amazing what you can find on the clearance rack at a nursery?

I bought this for $.50 somewhere.I think it's of the Kalanchoe family,but I'm not sure.Thoughts,anyone?

For the life of me I can't remember where.

It looked lost and lonely.
I bought it.......

I just figured it needed a home and some TLC.

With a new pot,some fresh soil,and some attention,today I found this.......

I think I'm a good momma,after all.......

What a pretty plant - it has repaid you richly for rescuing it.

Thank you so much for your comment. It means the world to me. I saw that silly little "take the vow" thing and had flash backs to the Vietnam War and what your hubby and others had to go through, and I don't want any of our warriors to ever suffer that disrespect again.

Semper Fi! and a Hooah!
Oh, and a **kisskiss** Deb
